Went bowling again and bowled 8 games haha. Learnt how to hook the ball better, learnt that i must get my ball to be resting in the correct position. Came back home, decided to watch more bowling videos and i found this Chris Barnes teaching video on youtube.
Learning points from the video:
1. 4-step approach: a. Bring the ball out at the same time as sticking out right foot, and by the same distance.
b. let the ball swing into the path
c. the ball should reach the peak of the swing
d. release the ball
2. Balls recommended for: a .Light short dry lane: Danger Zone I, III, Monster SlayR
b. Medium dry lane: Danger Zone V, Red Alert V, Time Zone
c. Medium Oily lane: Monster Bruiser, Red Inferno, Inferno
d. Heavy / long / oily lane: Danger zone IV, VI, Raging Inferno, Warp Zone

Hitting the First Pins!
Finally brought my ball out to use today. A bit disappointed cos i found out a few days ago that my ball is only a spare ball. But glad to know that it's a good one nonetheless. Pretty powerful and i feel very comfortable with it. I'll possibly get a strike ball when i have enough upkeep in the future, or when the need arises.

My First Bowling Ball!
Just recently bought my first bowling ball! An Ebonite Maxim 14 pounder with shades of red, black and silver. Comes with a bag and a pair of black(one of my favourite colours!) shoes. Decided that I would create this blog to record down my journey in becoming a bowling pro(hopefully!) :)
